6 Months With Paisley
Wow! Where has the time gone? Paisley is one happy and healthy little girl. When I say happy...I mean it. There isn't much fuss coming out of this baby, unless there is a very good reason for it. Paisley's first few months were great. We knew from the beginning she was going to be a wonderful baby. We went out a lot, she has always loved car rides, loves being outside and is great with other people. Paisley has done everything early. She showed us her first beautiful smile at a month old, started holding her head up a little over a month old, responds to voices and discovered her own voice around a month old and found her hands and feet just over two months. When Paisley was 2 and a half months old she rolled over for the first time. Mommy and Daddy were so excited and even made a video of it. Paisley got her ears pierced before she was 3 months old and had her first cereal right at 3 months old. On the day Paisley turned 4 months old, she sat up....ON HER OWN! We were very excited for this. Such a big accomplishment for a such a little girl! Her first trip to the emergency room was a week after she turned 4 months....haven't told this story yet. Daddy was getting Paisley's supper ready and set her in her highchair. Daddy wasn't thinking right and didn't strap her in or put her tray on all the way...Paisley fell head first onto the kitchen floor. Mom was so scared, but Dad thought she was ok. Mommy called both Grandmas to ask for opinions and of course they both said to take her. Mom took her to the E.R. while Dad stayed home. We sat in the room for a couple hours seeing the doctor every half hour just to make sure everything was O.K. He watched over her, made sure she ate good and made sure her eyes were ok. Everything was fine, thank goodness. On October 20 Paisley got her FIRST TOOTH and her second a week or two after. Next Paisley turned 6 months old. We were amazed of how fast time has gone since her birth and also amazed of how wonderful everything had been. She is definitely the biggest blessing in our life and feel so lucky to be able to have her in our life. She makes each day better and better.
