Paisley's First Christmas

Who or WHAT is that thing under all that red and white stuff??
I don't think so Mom. Do not let that thing touch me!!

No I don't want your bells! It's not going to make me like you!!

OK!! Get me away from this thing Mom!
Poor Paisley hated Santa Clause!

She likes candy though :)

We went to Daddy's work party.  They had all kinds of kiddy things.  Blow up play grounds, clowns, face painting, crafts and SANTA!! Paisley loved playing in the blow ups with Dad.

WEEEEEEE!

NOT AGAIN!!!

MOM come get me! Poor girl.  Maybe next year she'll do better.

She liked the clowns for some odd reason! she may not look like she does in this picture, but really she did! They had all kinds of fun toys on them and didn't have tons of white stuff handing from their face.

she even got a present from Dad's work

And she LOVED it :)

A Sunday with cousins.  The kids spent the day with us on one Sunday.  They had fun baking cookies, playing dress up, playing games and watching movies.  They're all such good kids.

Yes Mom! I'm playing in these presents and you can't stop me!! EVERY TIME I turned around the kid was tearing off bows and tearing into the gifts.  She's such a stinker!

I think this one's for me!

Yep...it's got my name on it!

Paisley Rae's First Thanksgiving

We are all so very thankful for this little angel.  She's brought so much joy into our lives.  We are so proud of her, even though she is only a wee little baby, she's accomplished so much for her age.  We are thankful that she is able to accomplish these normal everyday baby things.  I thank God everyday for what he has given us. We are so lucky and blessed to have such a healthy and beautiful baby girl.

Daddy gave Mommy and Paisley Thanksgiving flowers.  He is so sweet.  He let us know how thankful he is to have us but he doesn't know how thankful and lucky we are to have him in our lives.

Playing in her trashcan! In trouble by Daddy....after he got done laughing and taking pictures.

Waiting on friends to come over for a Thanksgiving dinner at our house.
Enough Pictures Mom!!

Giving Zoey a nice belly rub.  This is unusual because usually Zoey will run away from Paisley as soon as she sees her heading towards her.  But I guess every once in awhile Zoey will get some good use out of her.

Sick baby after Thanksgiving :(

Paisley was so excited to see her very first snow.  She didn't know what to think. She just stared out the window in awe for awhile and then started giggling and jumping.  She's such a cutie.

Fall Days

We had such a nice fall this year! Lucky for Paisley, because she absolutely loves being outside.  We were out so much going on walks, hanging out with Daddy, petting horses and playing with the dogs.  Paisley enjoys being outside more than any other kid I've ever seen.  If she's outside....she's HAPPY.

Sometimes Paisley WILL NOT play with her own toys...so when Mommy needs to cook supper, she lets Paisley help. She loves playing with dishes, especially the baster.

Pretty eyes

DECORATING THE CHRISTMAS TREE! We put our tree up in early November this year.  We wanted Paisley to enjoy the tree as long as she could.  Unfortunately, she didn't really like it haha.  She did like the presents under it...once we finally got some and every once in awhile she'd pull down an ornament.

The Colt's game was obviously boring to her.

Scooping poop with Dad.  Yeah we think she should learn to work early :) She's going to be one hardworking farm girl...at least we hope so.

Paisley got an early Christmas present.  She loves this toy.

-6 month update

6 Months With Paisley
Wow! Where has the time gone?  Paisley is one happy and healthy little girl.  When I say happy...I mean it. There isn't much fuss coming out of this baby, unless there is a very good reason for it.  Paisley's first few months were great.  We knew from the beginning she was going to be a wonderful baby.  We went out a lot, she has always loved car rides, loves being outside and is great with other people.  Paisley has done everything early.  She showed us her first beautiful smile at a month old, started holding her head up a little over a month old, responds to voices and discovered her own voice around a month old and found her hands and feet just over two months.  When Paisley was 2 and a half months old she rolled over for the first time.  Mommy and Daddy were so excited and even made a video of it. Paisley got her ears pierced before she was 3 months old and had her first cereal right at 3 months old.  On the day Paisley turned 4 months old, she sat up....ON HER OWN!  We were very excited for this.  Such a big accomplishment for a such a little girl!  Her first trip to the emergency room was a week after she turned 4 months....haven't told this story yet.  Daddy was getting Paisley's supper ready and set her in her highchair.  Daddy wasn't thinking right and didn't strap her in or put her tray on all the way...Paisley fell head first onto the kitchen floor.  Mom was so scared, but Dad thought she was ok.   Mommy called both Grandmas to ask for opinions and of course they both said to take her.  Mom  took her to the E.R. while Dad stayed home.  We sat in the room for a couple hours seeing the doctor every half hour just to make sure everything was O.K.  He watched over her, made sure she ate good and made sure her eyes were ok.  Everything was fine, thank goodness. On October 20 Paisley got her FIRST TOOTH and her second a week or two after.  Next Paisley turned 6 months old.  We were amazed of how fast time has gone since her birth and also amazed of how wonderful everything had been.  She is definitely the biggest blessing in our life and feel so lucky to be able to have her in our life.  She makes each day better and better.

Paisley is SIX months old!

It's amazing to think of the past 6 months with Paisley and realize how wonderful it has been and especially how fast it has gone.  She is so smart and has learned more than we would have thought in just six months.  Paisley is the best entertainment, who would have thought, a baby being soo much fun and entertaining to watch and play.  It never gets old and everyday is a new adventure with her.  Every single day we get with Paisley is so cherished.

Our Family
Looking at Paisley makes everything so much better.  Her sweet little face puts a smile on everyones face.  How can you not love the little angel.

acting silly :)
Playing in the leaves.  Paisley loved the leaves and of course tried to eat them.

She makes us a beautiful family.  Without her our lives would be so boring.  She brings so much joy and happiness to so many lives.

Such a cutie.

Daddy loves her.
